Job Summary:
Seastreak is now hiring Customer Service Representatives to work on the docks in NJ & NYC. Representatives assigned to working the docks in NYC take the ferry from Atlantic Highlands, NJ to NYC at the beginning of the shift and back at the end of the shift. Representatives are responsible for selling tickets, answering questions, checking in e-tickets for special event cruises, and making sure passengers are in the correct line.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Scanning tickets as passengers board
  • Responding to customer questions and inquiries
  • Organizing passenger lines
  • Selling tickets

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience in customer service (preferred)
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) after being hired. Certain felonies may exclude you from obtaining one
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn and successfully navigate an online reservation system
  • Can provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to all passengers
  • Willingness to familiarize oneself with Seastreak’s current offerings and schedules to best assist customer

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
