Objective

In this role, you'll be delving into the heart of the Domestic market, assisting enthusiasts in optimizing their vehicles for maximum performance. Our Domestic market is currently supported by a Fitment Expert who is preparing for a change in responsibilities. Your success is measured by successfully taking ownership of the role in 6 months or less. Future growth in this position includes involvement in growing the Domestic market through your community engagement and strategic initiatives.

Job Summary

Your expertise in motorsports fundamentals, including modifying wheels and tires, will be put to the test as you engage with customers seeking advice on enhancing their driving experience. Whether it's discussing suspension upgrades, brake configurations, or tire selections to complement Apex wheels, you'll be the trusted advisor guiding enthusiasts toward their ideal setup.  Anticipate spending 90% or more of your time in customer-facing interactions.

There are no cold calls or sleazy sales techniques here, so you don’t need extensive sales experience. We’re enthusiasts first and foremost. Your objective is to create interesting educational content for customers who are learning or looking for information about general fitments and wheel and tire 101. Your work will make it easier for customers to make a buying decision, make technical info easy to digest, decrease response times, support our Domestic Vehicle market, and sometimes provide support into other markets as well. You’ll be having conversations about vehicle setups, tires, suspension, brakes, alignments, and the other variables that affect a car’s performance, so you shouldn’t be lost when a customer asks about the difference between camber, caster, and toe. You should have a fundamental understanding of wheel and tire fitments and vehicle modifications, but we’ll teach you the rest.

This is a highly customer-facing position and so you must be comfortable consistently and reliably answering emails, talking on the phone, posting on forums and Facebook groups, and helping with internal projects to expand our education resources. If you don't enjoy talking to people, this job is not for you.

This position is fully remote in the contiguous US, with a few trips a year to Pleasanton, CA for team-building events. Working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 5PM PST.
