Every claim, every authorization, every line item we touch supports a provider who’s helping a child, a family, or an individual in need of behavioral health services.</p> <p>We’re seeking an experienced behavioral health billing professional who wants to grow beyond data entry and transaction management — someone ready to understand the “why” behind the work and move toward client account management and leadership.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Process electronic and paper claims for multiple clients and payors<br /> Perform and document Verification of Benefits (VOBs) for new and ongoing patients<br /> Submit and track authorization requests and Single Case Agreements (SCAs)<br /> Post and reconcile payments across client accounts<br /> Conduct claim follow-up and denial management to maximize collections<br /> Maintain a deep understanding of client-specific payor requirements and updates<br /> Identify billing or process patterns impacting revenue cycle performance<br /> Collaborate with the Credentialing and Compliance teams to ensure payor alignment<br /> Support reporting and audit preparation as needed</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>3–5 years of experience in behavioral health billing<br /> Working knowledge of CPT coding, modifiers, and payor submission rules<br /> Demonstrated success managing claims across multiple states and payors<br /> Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously<br /> Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br /> Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based collaboration tools<br /> Ability to maintain consistent communication through email, chat, and video conferencing</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>3–5 years of ABA billing experience<br /> Familiarity with CentralReach, Rethink, and Tebra<br /> Experience supporting multi-state operations<br /> Working knowledge of contracting and credentialing workflows</p> <p>Technical Requirements</p> <p>Because this is a fully remote position, all candidates must have:</p> <p>A secure, private workspace that complies with HIPAA and PHI confidentiality requirements<br /> A HIPAA-compliant computer with reliable internet access for onboarding and training (Homefront provides a dedicated workstation once onboarding is complete)</p> <p>Ideal Candidate Traits</p> <p>You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive — but also someone who cares deeply about why the work matters.
