We are looking for a Capital Markets Investment Banking Analyst in El Segundo, CA .

Essential Functions :
Functions as a Capital Market Investment Banking Analyst on supporting senior bankers in the research, origination and execution of various capital markets products and services.

Assist with preparation of marketing and pitch materials. Assists with preparation of materials needed to support the deal (e.g. opinions, research, analysis, accounting memos, offering memoranda, proposals, etc.).

Research and track market trends, comparable transactions, etc.

Evaluate and report risk for pipeline deals and active portfolio.

Partners with internal constituents to ensure policies and procedures are followed for review and approval of the deal throughout the lifecycle (e.g. Credit).

Maintain relationships with clients and investors (where applicable).

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's in business, accounting, finance, math or a related field and no experience (College Undergrad Placement) with strong interest and knowledge of finance and investment banking (e.g. Corporate Finance Solutions, Loan Syndications, Real Estate Capital Markets, and Power & Project Finance) or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

FINRA licensing will be required.

Prior completion of accounting or finance coursework highly desirable.

Strong interest and knowledge of finance and investment banking (e.g. Corporate Finance Solutions, Loan Syndications, Real Estate Capital Markets, and Power & Project Finance).

Superior analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to manage several projects at once.

Strong attention to detail.

Solid business development, negotiation, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Superior written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.

Ability to work independently and drive toward a completed end product.

Strong Microsoft office skills, especially excel.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 - $100,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
