Responsibilities:

The coordinator provides support to the Vice President and proactively manages and organizes heavy calendar scheduling, phone lines and book travel arrangements for the Hulu Unscripted team.

  • Manage busy calendar and phones, maintain phone logs, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and prepare expense reports.
  • Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams – your ability to work well with people on all levels is a very important part of your job.
  • Review your leader’s schedule to build-in time for things like thinking and traveling to their next meeting.
  • Understand the day’s priorities so you can be strategic about how you direct phone calls.
  • Schedule conference rooms, meetings, and video chats.
  • Handle extremely confidential, sensitive information, remembering that Disney is a publicly traded company.
  • Assist with on-boarding new employees – you’ll be the “friendly face” to answer all their questions, including some who are extremely senior in the organization.
  • Plan large, high-profile events like off-sites and team-building activities to maintain a positive culture.
  • Help create a cohesive and collaborative environment within the department and act as a resource when the executive is unavailable.
  • Provide additional support to other executives and department as needed.
  • Consistently update internal documents with new information as it comes in.
  • Assist in building and maintaining production related documents for individual show use.
  • Track, organize, and manage all production and post materials on past and current shows.
  • Create spreadsheets off existing information to be used for overview, comparison, and research purposes.
  • Cross collaborates with internal departments regarding production updates, and make sure they consistently have the most up to date information.
  • Serve as a liaison between Hulu and our studio partners to help manage, sort, and forward inquiries to the appropriate individuals and departments.
  • Ensuring Production Executives are aware of any events, important production dates, and studio meetings they should be involved in.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience within TV production or a transferable role.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage smooth operations of the executives’ calendars and offices, being mindful of deadlines and priorities.
  • General understanding of the television development process and cycles.
  • Knowledge of Production Companies, agencies, and networks.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime with short notice.
  • Must work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have a strong passion for television production and a dedicated desire to build a career in TV production management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, BOX and Google Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of EP Budgeting.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based file management, i.e. Dropbox.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of previous production coordinator experience.
  • Experience in unscripted production a plus.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $52,000 - $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
