Licensed Health Insurance Agent (Remote, $20/hour, $50-100/app) ID-7355

We are seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to analyze and negotiate insurance policies. This is a Telesales role, multi-carrier focused.

We are seeking experienced sales professionals who want to join a growing Insurance Agency. This start up agency is backed by executives in the Medicare space with over 30 years of experience.

Candidate must had an active health insurance license in their resident state and have experience selling Medicare Products. Candidate must be comfortable selling in a Broker Telesales role where calls will be inbound and outbound.

Responsibilities:

  • Using your knowledge of Medicare health, prescription drug plan, vision, and dental enrollments to identify the needs of the customer.
  • Candidate will be responsible for educating/selling consumers on DSNP plans, Medicare Plans and Ancillary Products.
  • Inbound and outbound Medicare Sales calls.
  • Using a needs analysis based selling approach, accurately answering questions, addressing any concerns, and recommending appropriate plans.
  • Consistently provide a world class experience at all customer touchpoints
  • Enrolling retirees compliantly and efficiently by reading provided script verbatim.
  • Conducting outbound phone calls to pre-set appointments, generating direct to consumer leads.
  • Meeting and/or exceeding key performance indicators
  • Handling inbound service calls by providing accurate and complete information
  • Actively managing all assigned appointments to ensure all retirees needs are met on a timely basis.
  • Responding to voicemails within 24 hours, internal chat requests, handle and resolve customer complaints and/or client escalations.
  • Delivering a consistently positive customer experience in a highly ethical and professional manner
  • Absorbing new information and possessing the flexibility to adapt to new processes rapidly.
  • Processing a wide range of complex details and articulating the details in simple terms to customers with varying levels of knowledge and education
  • Maintaining active resident health (and life if required) insurance license, or ability to renew license prior to start date, and any riders required by state (Med Sup/Illness/Critical Care)

Requirements

  • Possess a valid, NPN and insurance license.
  • Must have a laptop or computer with Windows, and a headset.
  • Must pass the required licensing exam, AHIP, and carrier certifications annually.
  • Strong consultative sales and/or service background
  • Ability to work any shift assigned while the call center is open. The center is open from 8am-8pm EST, Monday-Friday.
  • Have excellent time management, the ability to multitask, a desire to learn and the ability to self-study.
  • Aptitude for understanding details of Medicare insurance and complying with all CMS regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Effective communication, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting steps and utilize resources properly.
  • No contracting restrictions as related to carriers and/or previous employers. Release documents are required if previously sponsored by carriers or other companies.

  • High School degree (or GED) required.
