About the position

The Outside Sales Representative role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to join a leading client in the diesel engine and power generation industry. This well-established company specializes in the overhaul, repair, maintenance, and testing of diesel engines, turbochargers, and filtration equipment. With a strong reputation as an authorized distributor and service center for world-renowned manufacturers, the company offers extensive service and inventory support, backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification. In this role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving growth and achieving revenue objectives within the industrial and power generation markets. The position focuses on regional sales activity for Engineered Systems, Products, and Services. The Outside Sales Representative will develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, engaging with new and existing clients, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, with a strong emphasis on building relationships and understanding customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently while thriving as part of a team, and experience in the marine and/or power generation markets. A background in controls, automation, or related industries is advantageous, particularly experience with Woodward products. Proven success in outside sales, with a strong track record of identifying and capturing opportunities, is essential. The role also requires strong networking abilities within various communities and customer bases, as well as a willingness to travel domestically up to 50% - 60%.

Responsibilities
