We are looking for an experienced and organized Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support our fast-paced distribution center. In this role, you will ensure smooth daily warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate shipping and receiving activities while upholding food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving raw materials, storing finished goods, and managing outbound shipments.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Schedule, track, and communicate incoming and outgoing deliveries with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and logistics departments to meet shipping schedules and maintain product integrity.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, etc.), including temperature monitoring, sanitation, and traceability requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of warehouse best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Support warehouse team members and assist in training on proper handling, storage, and documentation procedures.
  • Generate and review reports related to inventory levels, shipping accuracy, and operational performance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory coordination within a food manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with WMS or ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments as needed.
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus.
