As a Facilities Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall functionality and appearance of our facility. Your role will involve not only routine cleaning but also the use of specialized equipment and performing minor repairs as needed. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept in top condition, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. In this role, you will clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including treatment rooms, corridors, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. You will perform industrial and commercial cleaning duties, utilizing specialized equipment such as buffing machines, carpet cleaning machines, and floor scrubbers. Additionally, you will be responsible for painting and repairing walls, doors, and other surfaces, as well as maintaining windows and glass surfaces. Your attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to a positive experience for everyone who visits our center.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including treatment rooms, corridors, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Perform industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning duties as needed.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as buffing machines, carpet cleaning machines, and floor scrubbers to maintain the condition of the facility's floors.
- Paint and repair walls, doors, and other surfaces as necessary.
- Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all facilities, including offices, meeting rooms, and storage areas.
- Perform porter duties, including emptying trash and recycling bins, restocking supplies, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Assist with facilities maintenance duties, including minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience with medical facilities cleaning
- Knowledge of custodial duties and responsibilities
- Ability to perform residential painting and repair tasks
- Experience with floor care and buffing
- Ability to maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities
- Experience with porter duties and facilities maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.
