- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.
- Ensures tables are bussed, cleared, and cleaned during peak service times.
- Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils to the kitchen area.
- Washes dishes, glasses, and pots; cleans cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation standards.
- Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
- Keeps display equipment clean and compliant with safety and sanitation standards during meal service.
- Helps receive heavy deliveries and transports them to assigned storage areas while observing safe lifting standards.
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
- Commits to personal safety and the safety of others.
- Abides by all company policies and procedures regarding safety equipment and practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience with food safety preferred.
