ASRC Federal is seeking a qualified Business Analyst to support a DoDEA client located in Peachtree City, GA.
Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) IT Division by gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements for the web-based content management system (CMS) and collaboration platform. This role ensures that DoDEA web systems and portals are aligned with organizational needs and integrated effectively within the enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business and technical requirements related to web-based CMS (CommonSpot) and SharePoint platforms.
- Identify functional gaps, document technical requirements, and support the full lifecycle of projects.
- Coordinate integration of CMS and SharePoint systems with enterprise data and systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of custom CFM applications and ColdFusion components.
- Document business processes, use cases, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with the DoDEA webmaster, developers, and engineers to troubleshoot and optimize web platform performance.
- Ensure compliance with security, data integrity, and accessibility standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis within a Federal or DoD environment.
- Demonstrated experience with CMS platforms (e.g., CommonSpot), MS SharePoint, ColdFusion, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA
- ITIL Foundation
- DoD 8570-compliant certification (if applicable to project security level)
DoDEA IT Division, Location: Peachtree City, GA (with remote/hybrid flexibility as permitted)
Clearance Required: Top Secret
