The Opportunity

As part of the America’s team, SANY Capital USA, located in Peachtree City, GA is looking for a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Financial/Credit Analyst. This role will analyze credit data and financial information of people or companies that are applying for credit or loans to determine the risk to SANY Capital USA or other credit-granting institutions. Financial/Credit Analyst will prepare weekly monitoring reports, own the credit management system and assist the Credit Manager to control the overall risk of the Department. This role will require someone who is a go getter, who takes on extra responsibilities and tasks, will learn new skills independently, help others and consistently undertake innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will work directly with the Credit Management team of SANY Capital USA, Inc. Job duties include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing credit requests to determine financial and non-financial strengths, risk levels, and feasibility of proposed credit relationships and transactions.
  • Analyzing and communicating financial condition and performance (historic, current and projected) of proposed and existing customers.
  • Evaluating trends in customer data to promptly identify and report areas of concern and/or potential problem loan, determining courses of action to mitigate identified risks and/or concerns.
  • Help to manage the commercial loan portfolio, which includes renewal of maturing loans and lines of credit.
  • Own the credit system reporting process to include weekly reporting, system updates and data syncing reporting.
  • Leads implementation of new portal process in credit management system to automate covenant monitoring.
  • Ability to learn Apex coding to manage Salesforce based credit management system.
  • Lead initiatives which add value, supports SANY vision, core values, business principles, goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, processes, company practices, guidelines, expectations, laws and regulations.
  • Staying abreast of new developments in the field of commercial lending and changing government regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective work relationships at all levels of the organization by participating in and contributing to a positive work environment that exhibits courteous, respectful and professional behavior.
  • Demonstrate consistent professional appearance, image, ethics, integrity, demeanor, and represent the SANY brand.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of commercial underwriting experience in banking, commercial finance, and/or captive finance environment.
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan underwriting with a sound understanding of credit worthiness.
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel (formulas, graphs, spreadsheets, pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate figures, amounts, ratios, formulas, computing interest, discounts, fees, etc.
  • Working experience with nCino and/or Salesforce, is a plus.
  • Effective written communication includes the ability to query reports, create reports and letters.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret commercial, consumer and equipment loan documents along with reports.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving non-reoccurring, unprecedented problems. Have a Root Cause/Countermeasure approach to problem solving (analytical vs. intuitive).
  • Time management skills with the ability to plan, create, maintain and resolve open issues, analyze workflow, demonstrate sense of urgency and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Process driven, detailed oriented, results driven and self-motivated.
  • Self-starter who is responsive, organized, self-motived with the ability to produce accurate results, meet all established goals, objectives and expectations, and comply with all policies, procedures, regulations, guidelines and laws with minimal supervision.
  • High energy with a sense of urgency who is resilient and self-confident along with ability to be adaptable to changes.
  • Ability to effectively handle and maintain confidential matters and information.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field. Preferred
