About the position
The Director, Engagement and Reach: Students and Families at The College Board is responsible for developing and executing multi-channel campaigns aimed at increasing engagement with high school students and their families. This role focuses on promoting College Board offerings such as the SAT, BigFuture, and AP programs, while managing campaign strategies, performance analysis, and content creation. The Director will collaborate with various teams and external partners to ensure effective campaign delivery and advocate for underrepresented student populations.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans for campaigns based on organizational goals and stakeholder input.
- Manage campaign efforts across various teams using internal project management systems.
- Lead the content review and approvals process with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure clean delivery of campaigns across multiple channels including email, web, social media, and events.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partner organizations.
- Track and analyze campaign effectiveness using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics.
- Continuously A/B test new messaging and creative to increase conversion rates.
- Leverage data sources to drive recommendations for target audiences.
- Represent the needs of underrepresented students and their parents.
- Develop compelling campaign content across various media platforms.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in consumer campaigns with a focus on engagement and reach strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with campaigns targeting Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, and other underrepresented communities.
- Strong collaborative skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Skilled in creating content across different media platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to travel 3-6 times per year.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
