Compensation Range:

$75,000.00-$95,000.00/Year

What You'll Do:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial performance of food and beverage, entertainment, merchandise, procurement, and labor operations through data analysis, reporting, and forecasting. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role leads the development of financial dashboards, scenario models, and performance insights that guide strategic decision-making across departments. As a partner to culinary, operations, and creative teams, the analyst plays a key role in driving clarity, cost control, and scalable growth

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Forecasting: Support and maintain Casa Bonita's recurring financial reporting and forecasting strategy across revenue, COGS, labor, and operating expenses
  • Performance Reporting: Collaborate and maintain recurring financial reports performance dashboards, KPI scorecards, and labor cost analysis to deliver clear visibility into business performance with procurement
  • Budgeting & Scenario Planning: Collaborate with the Finance team to support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles; develop scenario models and business cases to guide pricing structure, expansion strategies, and department-level decision making
  • Sales & Operational Analysis: Analyze guest behavior, sales trends, and operational efficiency metrics (e.g. RevPASH, labor productivity, and tip pool allocation) to uncover revenue opportunities and cost savings
  • Commercial Strategy Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of pricing structures and commercial strategies across dayparts, experiences (Standard vs Premium), and guest segments (Adult vs Kid), identifying areas for optimization
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Support culinary, operations, entertainment, merchandising, and procurement teams to evaluate cost drivers, track performance, and align financial goals across departments
  • Inventory & Margin Support: Support Mercado and Entertainment teams with inventory tracking, product-level margin analysis, and promotional impact studies
  • Systems & Reporting Tools: Assist with building financial dashboards, tools, and reporting systems that improve real-time visibility and empower teams to make data-driven decisions for department leaders
  • Project & Investment Analysis: Contribute to capital investment assessments, ROI modeling, and strategic project evaluations tied to growth, staffing, and guest experience improvements
  • Ad hoc duties: Support and perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the VP of Finance based on business needs

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, business analytics, or financial reporting, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, or consumer-facing businesses
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Prior experience with financial modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to format complex data into clear takeaways
  • Identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • Must have reliable form of transportation and must be able to work flexible hours

Preferred:
  • Prior experience supporting restaurants, entertainment venues, retail, or multi-revenue stream industries
  • Prior experience with start-up companies

Physical & Environmental Demands:
  • Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
  • Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
  • Able to work on a computer, tablet, or smartphone for extended periods of time
  • Frequent typing, scrolling, and clicking, which may require ergonomic awareness
  • Must be able to walk at least 5,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
  • Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to work in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue
