Collect and input patient demographic, patient and referring physician information. Identify, obtain and prepare medical records for physicians. Respond to questions about the office practices, procedures, and policies. Take messages for physicians and staff and relay these appropriately, promptly and efficiently. Refer phone calls if requested to office staff.

Education: High School diploma is required. Preferred work experience includes: medical office experience, customer service, multi-line telephone operation. Must be able to work as a member of team and have excellent communication skills. Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and standards. Ability to multitask

This is primarily a sedentary job that requires attention to detail but also the ability to multitask and to obtain and enter required information quickly and efficiently so other callers are not left on hold. The office does not have voicemail for this purpose.

Applicant must be able to multitask and work as a team.
