in the group Willingness to continue learning about financial markets and investments which may be unfamiliar Function Specific Job Duties: Process all operational aspects for private market investments made by UMB Private Wealth Management on behalf of our clients. This includes cash movements, valuation updates, processing documents, managing subscription/redemption processes, and other account maintenance… activities When assigned responsibilities, work collaboratively with senior associates and other functions to drive to resolution Assist the investment team in their ongoing support of internal partners in order to best serve our clients Distribute standardized and custom daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports Ensure adherence to corporate policy, operational policy, and regulatory guidance Other duties as assigned Requirements MINIMUM: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience that provides and equivalent background PREFERRED: Applicable experience within Financial Services Knowledge & Skills MINIMUM: Job Skills: Systems thinking and complex problem solving Attention to detail, yet ability to grasp big picture Highly organized and can effectively multi-task Great communicator with strong interpersonal skills Exceptional written communication and presentation skills Demonstrated strong math skills Basic knowledge of financial markets and investments Technical Skills:Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) PREFERRED: Job Skills: General knowledge of complex account types General knowledge of compliance rules and regulations within wealth management General knowledge of new account opening, investments, client onboarding requirements and cash management Active in community and professional organizations Technical Skills: Proficiency in UMB custody and clearing platforms such as SEI and Fidelity Wealthscape Proficiency with eMoney client portal and financial planning software Proficiency in cash movement activities, including wire and ACH Familiarity with private investment terminology Smart, intellectual, and business savvy Driven to succeed; passionate Trustworthy Consistent high performer Adaptable and able to adjust to many different personalities Surrounded always by other high performers Very hard worker Resourceful; overcome obstacles Effective leader, even without authority Down-to-earth, well-grounded, self-aware, humble Work Environment Type: Office Centric (60% In Office) Location: Various Compensation Range: Minimum: $51,480.00 – Maximum: $119,200.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
