About the position
The Sr. Product Manager for SaaS subscription will lead the development of a technology platform that supports a SaaS business model. This role focuses on creating a user-centric platform that enhances customer experiences throughout the customer lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-sales. The successful candidate will collaborate with product and development teams to innovate and deliver scalable solutions, utilizing a test-and-learn approach to ensure value and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Define business case (ROI) to champion resourcing required to deliver on vision.
- Understand the latest technology and AI to bring step changes in business capabilities.
- Help internal and third-party development teams understand the business vision.
- Utilize user-centric design thinking to design target user journeys and business processes.
- Translate target state journey into required product/platform capabilities.
- Design MVPs and test plans before committing to development backlog.
- Develop user stories, create product backlog, and lead feasibility assessments.
- Facilitate cross-functional team syncs using agile ceremonies to deliver effective solutions.
- Manage project risks and interdependencies by reporting and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Drive issue resolution with immediacy through collaboration with business and development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of technical product management experience with a focus on platforms and shared services.
- 3-5 years of software development experience with design and architecture knowledge.
- Experience developing capabilities for the Salesforce platform.
- Ability to work independently as a Product Manager and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Capability to write product guides and create detailed user stories with UX wireframes.
- Data-driven with a proven track record of identifying product experience success measures.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a track record of gaining executive confidence.
- Demonstrated passion for delivering superb customer experiences.
