Leads the delivery, optimization, and continuous improvement of technology solutions supporting linehaul and pick-up and delivery (P&D) operations, enabling coordinated network execution, route optimization and high service reliability

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of high performing IT leadership and professionals fostering reusability and continuous improvement.

2. Oversee the delivery, integration and optimization of technology platforms for linehaul scheduling, trip planning and real-time driver coordination, as well as P&D routing and delivery confirmation.

3. Partner with business operations leaders to align system capabilities with operational goals, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant service execution.

4. Ensure interoperability between linehaul, P&D and other logistics platforms to provide end-to-end visibility and operational agility.

5. Lead modernization of linehaul and P&D technology platforms, ensuring adoption of scalable and future-ready solutions.

6. Support vendor relationships, system upgrades and issue resolution to ensure platform stability and performance.

7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, logistics, supply chain management, or related field

Minimum Experience

• Ten (10) years leading technology teams or application portfolios in transportation, fleet or last-mile delivery operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of linehaul coordination, driver dispatch, routing and P&D workflows.

• Proven experience implementing applications for network execution, route optimization, mobile driver tool and fleet tracking.

• Strategic thinking with ability to align linehaul and P&D technology solutions to complex network and delivery challenges.

• Analytical mindset to assess performance data and optimize routing, scheduling, and last-mile execution.

• Effective communication and influencing skills to collaborate with drivers, dispatchers and operational leadership.
