You will be responsible for leading and developing the Technology team. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be working closely with stakeholders within the business unit, functional Senior Leaders and our franchise community. Your goal will be to drive growth and strategic renewal by helping us complete our digital transformation, ensuring the overall tech stack works seamlessly for the benefit of the customer and the teams in store.  You will focus on creating</span><span> new </span><span>value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes</span></p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <p><span><strong>Capability Building, Leadership & Direction</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to both permanent and contractor expertise within the Technology team, focusing on functional goals delivery as well as people capability building </span></li> <li><span>Hold self and team to high standards at all times, and be proactive in identifying, assessing and mitigating strategic risks when teams are balancing time and quality. </span></li> <li><span>Build awareness across the business and franchise community on technology projects, and technology enablement of other projects initiatives, which includes but is not limited to awareness on Technology strategy, projects and integration with the business’ objectives.</span></li> <li><span>Ensuring Franchise partners and key vendors have the resources and know-how to successfully execute and deliver within their teams.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Technology Strategy & Leadership </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Sets out the enterprise strategy for technology and defines the future releases, accounting and balancing business drivers, supplier roadmaps, project dependencies and technical constraints.</span></li> <li><span>Be accountable for the direction, design and implementation of policies across infrastructure to provide working technology systems in line with corporate standards.</span></li> <li><span>Accountable for the establishment and management of the relevant budgets across the Technology teams.</span></li> <li><span>Accountable for strong configuration management and version control disciplines being in place across the Technology team.</span></li> <li><span>Determines the structures and resourcing across Technology in partnership with HR & Finance.</span></li> <li><span>Coordinates the subject matter expertise to direct or support analysis of data to diagnose issues or determine enhancements.</span></li> <li><span>Sets the Technology strategies and schedules and be accountable for reporting on progress, risks, issues and sets direction on delivery to time, quality, and cost.</span></li> <li><span>Assure suppliers and where required be prepared to intercede with support from the supporting functions as required.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Ad Hoc Support Items</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>When required direct the troubleshooting and resolution of live issues; be a senior escalation point for Technology issues.</span></li> <li><span>When required acts as the Major Incident Director, directing the incident responses and being accountable for maintaining communications in any escalated incident.</span></li> <li><span>Some working outside of traditional, core hours may be required, working with the wider teams across Yum, help manage the suppliers and third parties to ensure the systems released across Global Pizza Hut best support the business</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Extensive experience in technology leadership, ideally in a number of senior roles within E-Commerce or other Fast-paced Tech and Digital Organizations. </span></li> <li><span>Experience and understanding of POS, solid knowledge of development, testing, agile methods, data, integrations service desk processes and protocols.</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge and experience covering enterprise and/or solution architecture.</span></li> <li><span>A pragmatic planner, able to broker effective agreements between diverse parties.</span></li> <li><span>Initiative and drive for self-development beyond company assisted training and mentoring; active in the training and mentoring of others.</span></li> <li><span>Relationship-building skills – and ability to gain influence with key stakeholders (such as franchisees) in order to drive data-driven decisions.</span></li> <li><span>Strong teamworking ethos that fits the Global Pizza Hut working culture and values.</span></li> <li><span>Initiative and drive for self-development beyond company assisted training and mentoring; active in the training and mentoring of others.</span></li> </ul> <p><i><strong>Beware of fake job postings using Yum! and/or our brand logos -- KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill -- on fraudulent sites.
