Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential to the success of warehouse operations and involves carrying out daily tasks to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse under the direction of the Fleet & Equipment Manager. The position requires strong attention to detail and the safe, effective operation of various types of equipment, including forklifts.

Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jack.
  • Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing materials and managing inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Handle heavy lifting and materials with care to prevent damage and ensure safety.
  • Collaborate with Fleet & Warehouse Manager to improve efficiency in warehouse management systems.
  • Participate in training for heavy equipment operation as needed.
  • Maintaining the warehouse in an organized and clean condition.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow oral instructions promptly and accurately
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor
  • Ability to complete work tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers and vendors.
  • Forklift certified
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is essential.
