Insurance Claims Poster | Full-time | Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Claims Poster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental billing and coding, along with a deep understanding of revenue cycle management and will ensure that claims, denials, and appeals are efficiently processed, along with resolving billing-related issues. You should also be able to code diagnoses and procedures correctly, read and understand EOBs proficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post insurance payments within 24 hours of receipt
  • Follow up on denied claims while posting
  • Submit appeals for denied claim
  • Correct and send additional information for claims needing additional information
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental billing regulations and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with dental office staff to resolve billing issues
  • Manage dental records and documentation related to billing and collections
  • Attach fee schedules and coverage tables if missing
  • Collaborate with other revenue cycle team members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental billing regulations and compliance requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Eaglesoft
  • Must be proficient in reading and understanding EOBs
  • Previous experience in dental billing, coding, or revenue cycle management
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Willingness to learn the nuances of each dental practice
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality, including HIPAA/PHI regulations
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of Dental Revenue workflows and effective communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with InsideDesk and Vyne Trellis is highly desired
  • Effective time management with the ability to stay on task in a remote work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
