Thriving oninnovation and excellence, QatarEnergy is bound to the highest levels ofsustainable human, socio-economic, and environmental development inQatar and beyond. **Department** MESAIEED HEALTHCARE DEPT. **Primary purpose of job** To perform a variety of laboratory tests within the Medical Laboratory in order to provide results to be used in the diagnosis, treatment and follow - up of diseases/illnesses. **Experience & Skills**: - Licensed Laboratory Technologist registered with Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) or to obtain within 6 months (essential). - Minimum 3 years’ experience general pathology, hospital, polyclinic, or medical laboratory (essential). - Experience in blood sampling technique, in results analysis and interpretation of different laboratory tests, in the use of fully automated and computerized laboratory machines (essential). - License as Lab Technologist to be maintained (essential). - Fluency in spoken and written English (essential). - Able to identify different colours (essential). - Valid Qatar driving license (preferred). Can be required to work shifts and in various locations. - Occasional exposure to the risk of contracting contagious conditions, communicable diseases, blood, body fluids, etc. - Must maintain patient confidentiality (essential). **Education**: - B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Bio Medical Sciences (essential).
