About the position

Responsibilities

  • Drive the innovation and technology strategy within the Low Voltage Motor Control Center (MCC) product line.
  • Responsible for the new product development product road map for the next three to five years.
  • Provide leadership in the formulation of product line strategy, initiatives to enhance sales growth and profitability, new product development, maintenance of line product enhancements, marketing programs, marketing collateral.
  • Work closely with and monitor progress of the Bid Manager group to drive on-time development of configuration enhancements and associated interfacing programs as they pertain to the MCC product line.
  • Assume a leadership role in the formation and execution of sales plans with field sales through the evaluation of competitive product offerings and tactics.
  • Utilize the ProLaunch process to develop and execute new product development.
  • Interface with product development teams, engineering and drafting teams, operations and manufacturing personnel, inter-divisional product managers, field sales, and customers to integrate leading edge technology in metering, communication capability, power distribution and power control products into MCC product designs.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to lead field sales engineers and product line personnel in product application, value-added engineering, negotiation strategies, competitive comparisons and order closing activities.
  • Maintain a leadership role within the department and Fayetteville plant.
  • Provide guidance to the Sales Engineers, Satellite Managers, EatonCare, Field Sales and Project Management teams when required.
  • Initiate contact directly, or in concert with field sales, to make sales calls on customers to promote the MCC product line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive product and application knowledge of circuit breaker technology, power control components, motor control centers, metering, relays, communications and power distribution assemblies and automation.
  • Experience with marketing and marketing communication techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
