<p>Mind Computing is seeking a <strong>Scrum Master</strong> be a part of a remote team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding and facilitating Agile practices within the team, ensuring smooth project execution, and helping the team meet its goals.</p> <p>The candidate must reside within the continental US. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul><li>Lead Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Demos, and PI Planning.</li><li>Build strong relationships to foster collaboration, transparency, and innovation across highly cross-functional Agile software development teams supporting CI/CD.</li><li>Proactively identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.</li><li>Assist the Product Manager in effective backlog management, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment of items with business goals.</li><li>Champion Agile values and quality practices, coordinate across organizations, and coach team members on process improvements and best practices.</li><li>Work closely with senior-level client leadership and business stakeholders, advising on process standardization and continuous improvement.</li><li>Guide the development team in self-organization, cross-functionality, and adopting Agile principles to maximize performance.</li><li>Mediate conflicts, resolve issues, and ensure healthy communication between the development team, Product Manager, and stakeholders.</li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. </li><li>Proven track record managing large-scale software development, data management, and system integration initiatives.</li><li>Skilled in facilitating briefings with senior leadership and capturing actionable outcomes from meetings and stakeholder requests.</li><li>Proficient with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) and Kanban methodologies is highly desired.</li></ul> <p><strong>Additional Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul><li>SAFe Certified Scrum Master</li><li>Ability to hold a security clearance</li></ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul><li>Medical/Dental/Vision</li><li>PTO + Federal Holidays  </li><li>Corporate Laptop </li><li>Training opportunities  </li><li>Remote work options</li></ul> <p>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.</p> <p>Sorry, we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.</p>
