Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
As part of Kuipers Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global inventory accounting capabilities. You will be responsible for developing an impactful inventory accounting product suite that meets Kuipers global expansion plan. This requires exceptional foresight to design futureproof integration patterns that can evolve with both business needs and regulatory requirements while minimizing changes to business systems.
The ideal candidate for this role has strong business and product sense combined with a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts. You will need to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity. You will work with multiple engineering teams across organizations and partner with our customers across Tax Accounting Finance Operations and others to define product vision roadmap detail product requirements and testing plan. You will drive difficult tradeoff decisions and communicate the solutions clearly to stakeholders across tech and business organizations to help them understand decisions and options. You will need to dive deep with the development team and challenge the design as needed to drive technical tradeoff decisions.
High judgment ability to influence analytical talent exceptional communications the ability to partner with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
Define and align product vision with business goals and develop the product roadmap to achieve the product vision and business results.
Collaborate with global accounting partners and product managers to identify detail product requirements and work closely with engineering to manage feature release schedules risks and tradeoffs.
Influence techs design in partnership with engineering teams in Kuiper and in Amazon to make sure technology choices are aligned to our needs and ensure product reusability and avoid redundancies;
Develop testing and communicate plans for feature releases.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
7 years in supply chain product/program management marketing business development or technology with a track record of leading largescale projects.
7 years combining supply chain product and program management driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Proven ability in building product roadmaps overseeing endtoend product delivery and managing product lifecycles while balancing requirements user needs and technical constraints.
Proven crossfunctional communication skills to leverage tech and nontech requirements to support business needs.
Experience managing large scale successful projects
Experience in both US and global operations
Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
Great analytic and communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
