Position Summary...The VIZIO Software Product Management team is currently seeking a Staff, Product Manager, to build our next-gen operating system for VIZIO Smart TVs. This person will be critical in evolving our tech stack to better leverage TV hardware. The ideal candidate for this position has a thorough understanding of Linux, embedded systems, TV technology standards, and software optimization. This role will collaborate heavily with our OS team in Dallas to understand the specific challenges our developers face with building robust applications on VIZIO devices and construct a comprehensive roadmap to create a more efficient, scalable operating system.

What you'll do...

Our Product Management team at Walmart is dedicated to transforming ideas into reality by creating and managing innovative product solutions that deliver value to our customers. As a Staff Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product roadmap, optimizing platform performance, and driving the strategic direction of our VIZIO operating system.

What You’ll Do

  • Define the product vision and design the roadmap for the VIZIO operating system.

  • Collaborate with key SoC partners to facilitate operating system improvements.

  • Communicate the roadmap and its status to key stakeholders and partners.

  • Identify areas for platform optimization and improve technical efficiency.

  • Lead in-person demos to executive leadership and coordinate releases with engineering and QA teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
