You'll be fully remote and report to a Group Creative Director while working with a vibrant, and globally distributed creative team to create impact and delight while pushing the boundaries of our brand and measuring your impact along the way.</p> <p>Your role as a Creative Director is to be a craft leader that helps bring Atlassian products to life through well-crafted campaigns across all our channels and customer touch points. We are looking for a product-minded creative, experienced in campaign thinking and visual storytelling with a portfolio that shows an attention to design detail. We work in a collaborative environment: your intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking will be a plus. You will expected to show business impact and produce creative solutions that help our team achieve our goals with thoughtful customer-centric creative work.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li><p>Work with a CD/CW counterpart on conceptual challenges big and small. From full brand campaigns to tactical one off events.</p></li> <li><p>Be a craft expert who elevates the creative bar at Atlassian with fresh viewpoints, experiences, and interests.</p></li> <li><p>Be a brand champion to colleagues across the organization, and work with leadership to develop how creative impacts the business and our growth directly.</p></li> <li><p>Work on a tight-knit team, alongside with partners from marketing and brand design, involved in the end-to-end marketing process from ideation to implementation.</p></li> <li><p>Concept and deliver robust brand and product campaigns and experiences.</p></li> <li><p>Push and challenge assumptions through productive debate, which leads to innovation and better outcomes.</p></li> <li><p>Direct and collaborate with agency partners to execute on behalf of the Atlassian brand.</p></li> </ul> <p></p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Your background:</strong></p> <ul> <li><p>10+ years of Art Direction experience in a mix of agency and in house creative departments demonstrated with an exciting portfolio that highlights award worthy thinking and work. Experience in technology a plus.</p></li> <li><p>Experience collaborating with a diverse team in a culture motivated by innovation, huge plus if you've worked with distant teammates and understand the communication patterns of working with distributed teams.</p></li> <li><p>A portfolio that showcases projects that demonstrate familiarity with complex brands and messaging.</p></li> <li><p>An understanding of the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, and color.</p></li> <li><p>Experience that spans film, web, print, motion, experiential, and campaign world.</p></li> <li><p>An appreciation of feedback as a gift.</p></li> <li><p>Exceptional visual, verbal and written skills.</p></li> <li><p>A shared belief that collaboration improves creativity.</p></li> <li><p>Experience working with cross-functional partners in marketing and strategy organizations, as well as direct oversight of external partners like agencies and freelancers.</p></li> <li><p>Confidence in presenting and articulating your work to peers, partners, and leadership.</p></li> <li><p>Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite, and collaboration software for presentations. Collectively, the team defines, articulates, and scales how millions of users experience and connect with the Atlassian brand from multiple dimensions. Focused on articulating the messaging of our brand and products to consumers, you will be amongst the designers, illustrators, writers, and animators who combine strategy with research, creativity, and craft to build and shape how we're viewed by the world.</p> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>At Atlassian, we try to design equitable, explainable, and fair compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is determined by a candidate's skills and experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:</p> <p>Zone A: $168,100 - $224,200</p> <p>Zone B: $151,300 - $201,700</p> <p>Zone C: $139,500 - $186,100</p> <p>This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.</p> <p>Please visit go.atlassian.com/payzones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones.
