The Program Manager is responsible for planning and managing projects which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration, and for supporting project operations analysis and reporting. This role ensures program goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters and that there is adherence to quality standards. The role prepares or facilitates the preparation of program/project deliverables and communicates with company executives and cross-functional stakeholders regarding the status of specific projects as appropriate.

  • Lead large, global, and often, virtual groups of multi-disciplinary teams of highly-talented professionals;
  • Develop and refine program/project plans that specify goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources;
  • Coordinate the execution of the contained tasks as defined in the program plan in order to achieve the relational project(s) goals;
  • Lead in the management of changes to the program/project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes;
  • Record detailed stakeholder requirements, constraints, and assumptions in order to establish the project(s) deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter;
  • Measure program performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project(s), identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders;
  • Provide a high overview to the evolution of program and associated projects processes and workflow in support of the dynamic needs of the Company’s business;
  • Evolve processes, tools, and metrics to enable effective and efficient delivery of company projects.
  • Maintain relationships with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies in order to assess potential partnership and commitment to the program;
  • Motivate the teams using appropriate tools and techniques in order to increase commitment to the program objectives;
  • Prepare and present statements of work and proposals for vendors and potential customers in conjunction with Product & Development, technology development and Management;
  • Optimize processes, tools, metrics, and human capital to enable effective and efficient delivery of company program and associated projects;
  • Coach and mentor junior project managers and provide consultative support to project managers.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Six (6) years of overall Project Management experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Successful tracking and schedule compliance with larger scale projects
  • Ability to work across multiple job levels to achieve results
  • Process modeling, data standardization, and analytics
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process
  • Consistent success in leading teams to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Demonstrated skill with Project Management tools and concepts
  • Experience with resource management (labor models, time tracking, etc.)
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project; Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and general Web proficiency; PPM tool(s)
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check
Certificates and Licenses: None required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP)

Compensation and Benefits:

We anticipate the salary range to be $80,000 to $132,000. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
