Position Summary

This Case Manager Registered Nurse position is with Aetna’s Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) team and is a field-based position out of Virginia. The requirements is for candidates to hold a Virginia Registered Nurse License, and travel % of the time to meet with members face to face.

Scheduled work hours will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm.


Nurse Case Manager is responsible for reviewing member medical records and treatment plans to ensure the appropriateness, effectiveness, and timeliness of care, while also managing healthcare resources and costs. This role includes review of personal care authorization requests and private duty nursing requests.


Required Qualifications

  • Must reside in Virginia.
  • RN with current unrestricted Virginia state licensure required. 
  • 3 years Clinical Experience (Preferably in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Behavioral Health, Long term Care, etc.).
  • 1+ years Managed Care experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Typical office working environment with productivity and quality expectations
  •  Ability to multitask, prioritize and effectively adapt to a fast paced changing environment
  • Position requires proficiency with computer skills which includes navigating multiple systems and keyboarding.


Education

  • Associate's Degree Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • RN with VA current unrestricted Virginia state licensure required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:


$60,522.00 - $129,615.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
